You’ve got a trip to Bear Lake booked. But now you have a million questions: what does she need to bring? How will you get in to the home you’ve booked? What are the sleeping arrangements going to be like?

Here is a quick spot to answer all of your most important questions! Please let us know if there are any other questions you would like addressed!

When will my credit card be processed for the balance on my reservation?

Your card will be processed 14 days before your arrival. It will happen automatically, so don’t worry about anything!

Can I change the credit card that you have on file?

Of course! Just give us a call and we will be happy to switch that out for you. 

What is your cancelation policy?

We understand that things come up in your lives, but please also understand that it is our job to make sure that our owners get the payments that they were expecting.

You may cancel and receive a full refund up to 30 days before your arrival. If you cancel between 15 and 29 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Once you are within 14 days of your arrival, there will be no refund issued. 



Why should I download your app?

Why wouldn’t you want to download the app? Once you have it on your phone, you can quickly see the photos and bed arrangements so you can make room assignments before coming. You’ll have the WiFi code right there so you won’t have to worry about finding it once you get to your vacation rental. You’ll also have access to all of our local recommendations, including a list of every restaurant in Bear Lake (separated out by those open year-round and summer-only & a list of our favorites!), our favorite hikes, a beach map, summer activities, winter activities, and so much more!

Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. All of our properties are pet free & we need to keep them that way in order to respect those who have allergies. 

How will we get access to the property we have reserved?

5 days before you come, we will send you an email with all of the information that you’ll need. You’ll be given a unique 4 digit code to use on the door that will get you right inside!

What are your check in/out times?

Our standard check in time is 4:00 pm. 

Our standard check out time is 10:00 am. 

Is early check-in and late check-out available?

We can’t guarantee anything, however, we will be happy to offer either to you at $20/hr if it is available. If you want to see if this is a possibility for your trip, just shoot us a text or an email and we’ll do our best to coordinate it with you! 

Do I need to bring soap, shampoo or conditioner?

We will provide a travel sized soap and shampoo in each bathroom. If you need more than that, please bring your own!

Will I have access to a washer & dryer?

All of our properties have a washer & dryer for you to use. We will also provide laundry detergent & dryer sheets, so don’t worry about any of that! 

What kitchen items will I need to bring?

Sorry, but we don’t provide food for you 😉 

However, all of our kitchens are stocked very thoroughly with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. You should expect to have everything you need to cook pretty much any meal. If you have a question about a specific item, please reach out and we’ll get you an answer as quickly as we can. 

Do you have the bed arrangements so I can plan room assignments before arrival?

You can find the exact bed layout in the description on the listing you booked on. You can also download our app and find it there. Let us know if you prefer to download our app (it has all sorts of good surprises!) and we’ll send you a code. 

Should I bring a blanket?

Due to cleanliness and sanitary concerns, most of our properties do not provide blankets. So if you want to use one to snuggle up in the evenings, we suggest bringing your own!

However, we do provide all the bedding that you’ll need, so don’t worry about that.

Bear Lake is a small town. Is there a place to buy groceries?

Yes! There was a brand new grocery store built in spring of 2021, and it should have pretty much everything you need. It is right by the Utah marina, so is likely to be pretty dang close to the home you’ve rented.
