Our Favorite Hikes

Limber Pine Trail

Located nearby (right above Sunrise Campground, right as you begin the decent out of the Logan Canyon), this is a great hike for people of all ages!  It’s an easy 1.3 mile loop, with a smooth walking surface and a short, gentle uphill at the beginning.

Swan Peak Trail

Located near the base of Beaver Mountain. Try this 3.6-mile out-and-back trail near Garden City, Utah. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 54 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring. And the views at the end are breathtaking!

Sink Hollow Trail to Horse Lake

Sink Hollow is famed for its bone-chilling winter temperatures but in the warmer months of the year, it’s as pleasant as can be. The trailhead lies near the Beaver Mountain Ski Area on Beaver Creek Road, about twenty minutes up Logan Canyon from Bear Lake. The hike is a moderate 9 miles to a small lake!

Tony Grove – Many Different Trails

Tony Grove is a small, mountain lake surrounded by a variety of beautiful trails. Whether you are looking for an easy loop around the lake, a picnic with a view, or a difficult 9+ mile trail, you will find all of this and more at Tony Grove. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the lake from Garden City.

Laketown Canyon Trail

If youre looking for a less crowded trail, this is the one for you! Park at the rodeo arena in Laketown. Head south on 200 E and the road turns to dirt. The trail crosses the stream 7 times, so you will get wet! There is a reservoir about half way up and a spring at the top (3.5 miles one way).

Bloomington Lake

Although you will have to drive about an hour to get to this trail, it is worth every minute! Once there, a short .5 mile hike brings you to a hidden gem of Bloomington Lake. The hike is easy enough that people will bring a paddleboard or kayak with them. Or a fantastic rope swing provides an adventure for those ready to brave the chilly mountain waters!

Hodges Canyon – Many ATV Trails

Head out on this 12.2-mile loop trail, located near the Pickleville Playhouse. This is a popular trail for mountain biking and off-road driving, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are June through September.

Fish Haven Canyon – Many ATV Trails

Fish Haven Canyon is designed more for ATVs & RZRs than for hikers. But if you have the chance, you will love exploring the hundreds of miles of trails accessable from this canyon, and could find yourself as far away as Logan!
